Vaccinations and annual health checks are an essential part of your pets health care plan. At these appointments a variety of issues can be discussed and managed. Not only does this ensure your pet is as healthy as possible it can also uncover possible issues that require further investigation or management.

Here at MHPH we strongly advocate for the vaccination of your pets. We perform vaccinations on dogs, cats and rabbits.

In dogs, we vaccinate against

 Canine Parvovirus

 Canine Distemper

 Canine Infectious Hepatitis

 Kennel Cough (Bordetella Bronchoseptica and Parainfluenza Virus)

Vaccinations are also available on request against Leptosporosis .

This is an opportune time to also utilise the yearly heartworm (Proheart) or flea/tick (Bravecto Quantum) injections. These both provide 12 months of coverage and provide you with peace of mind and convenience.

We recommend puppy vaccinations at 6, 10 and 14 weeks old and then annually with their health check.
