Senior Wellness Afternoon 2016

Did you know that furry friends (Both cats and dogs) are considered senior citizens from 7 years of age.

While they may not appear to be ageing, their bodies are changing, along with their nutritional needs. Pets over the age of 7 have a higher risk of developing conditions such as kidney disease, dental disease, arthritis and heart disease. Regular health checks can help to detect these conditions early, which is crucial to keeping our pets healthy and happy.

To help furry family members get the most out of life, Mount Hutton Pet Hospital invited everyone to attend an information afternoon with our health care team to learn more about caring for their senior loved one.

The information night was held in the clinic on the 28th of May 2016
